Since founding Suncoast Chiropractic in 2000, I have provided personal chiropractic care focused on helping patients move better, feel better, and get back to what matters in their lives.
I had suffered with asthma and allergies for my entire life, requiring daily medications, weekly allergy shots, and routine use of an emergency inhaler. Despite treatment, my asthma and allergies were ongoing.
My first chiropractic adjustment happened during an allergic reaction after I ate shrimp without realizing I was allergic to shellfish. A chiropractor was present and adjusted me during that experience. The timing of what happened made a lasting impression on me and ultimately led me to begin receiving regular chiropractic care.
Over time, my personal experience with chiropractic care helped shape my interest in health, function, and eventually my decision to become a chiropractor. That experience remains part of why I believe so strongly in helping patients pursue healthier, more active lives.

I have been married to my wife, Carol, for 40 years. We have three daughters, Amanda, Sarah, and Molly, and five grandchildren.
When I am not in the office, I enjoy fishing with my wife and playing with our grandchildren.

Palmieri, D.C.
Dr. Michael Palmieri is a second-generation chiropractor with more than 25 years of experience helping patients feel better and live more comfortably. At Suncoast Chiropractic, he provides personal care focused on understanding each patient's needs and helping them return to the activities that matter most to them.
His path to chiropractic began early. Dr. Palmieri grew up with a father who was a chiropractor and received regular chiropractic care as a child. That firsthand experience inspired him to follow in his father's footsteps and build a career centered on helping people who are in pain feel and function better.
Dr. Palmieri graduated from Life University in Marietta, Georgia, and is a board-certified Chiropractic Physician in the state of Florida. After more than two decades in practice, the part of his work he values most remains simple: helping patients improve their quality of life.

Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Palmieri and his wife chose Southwest Florida for its beaches, outdoor lifestyle, and opportunities to enjoy the activities they love. Outside the office, he enjoys golf, beach time, bike riding, and discovering new restaurants.
